Civil Designer
Job Description:
We are seeking a civil designer with a minimum of 2-4 years experience in general site civil design and transportation design. The successful candidate will work with a distinguished group of clients representing industrial, commercial and residential interests as well as federal, state and municipal agencies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing engineering drawings for land development purposes, and be capable of reviewing and preparing reports, maps, drawings and related items associated with development projects. Under direct supervision of a Licensed Engineer, the successful candidate will design projects including land planning, public and private road systems, storm drainage, utilities, site grading, soil erosion and sediment controls, hydrology, hydraulics, storm drainage and storm water management plans using CivilStorm and Flow Master. The candidate will evaluate, implement a wide array of civil infrastructure projects using Microstation XM and Inroads XM, design land development process from schematic design plans through construction documents and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Job Requirements:
- 2-4 Years Civil Site Design Experience Minimum
- Experience with Microstation and Inroads is required.
- Strong analytical skills and good technical writing ability
- Team player with ability to communicate with staff
- Strong working knowledge of general civil site design requirements
