PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Avondale Park is a 40-acre park which features a mature rose garden and gazebo, spring-fed grotto, outdoor amphitheater and 2,400 square foot renovated villa, duck pond, walking track, tennis courts and three youth baseball/softball fields. The park is home to the Southside Baseball Association, a youth baseball league.

Dynamic Civil Solutions provided professional civil engineering and construction administration services for the restoration of the park. The project included the restoration and addition of three (3) softball fields, modifications to the existing amphitheater, additional parking areas and walking paths. Efforts were coordinated with other architectural disciplines to provide a comprehensive design. Engineering services included civil site design, site grading and drainage plans, site utilities design, erosion and sediment control plans, signage plans and civil construction details.
