PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Birmingham CrossPlex, located in Five Points West, is a multi-purpose athletic and meeting facility that sits on a partially developed 92-acre site. The developed portion of the site is a mixed-use development that hosts a hotel, restaurants, retail stores, offices, residential housing and a 4,000-seat outdoor amphitheater.

Dynamic Civil Solutions was retained to design the infrastructure for the future CrossPlex Village Mixed-Use Development. The site infrastructure package included new roadways, sidewalks, a water feature / detention pond, decorative fence around the perimeter of the site, underground utilities (water distribution system and sanitary sewer) and a running trail/track around the perimeter of the site. Engineering services included civil site design, site grading and drainage plan, storm water quality design, erosion and sediment control plans, utility systems design, civil construction details and construction administration.
